Restorative Dentistry

Restorative Dentistry is restoring the tooth structure damaged by caries or due to trauma or wear and tear. This is done at Stoma Advance Care Dental Clinic, with such an accuracy that it is virtually impossible to differentiate between the natural and restored part of the tooth.

Dental caries is a progressive disease and should be treated as early as possible. The failure to do so, leads to spread of infection to the dental pulp and thereafter to the bone. When the infection reaches the dental pulp, then root canal is called for. Cavities are smaller hollow areas in your teeth, which are filled with ceramic and composite fillings.

Recall

Dentist recommends professional examinations at regular four to six-month intervals. It is easy to restore and repair fillings when there is little damage, but if ignored, the total restoration will need redoing.
